Social values of Agrosevilla

Being loyal to our principles. This was our priority when Agro Sevilla started its story in 1977 and this has been our consistent inspiration for over 40 years, a time in which we have achieved an outstanding position of leadership in the international table olives market.

 

Aware of the great responsibility we assume in extending the ancient culture of the olive tree, we have learned to listen to the most primitive laws of agriculture. Ancestral principles that tell us to sow before reaping and to remember that only a strong root, deeply embedded in the soil, can sustain great growth.

This is the reason why Agrosevilla has invested in firmly planting its roots and providing respect and benefit to all parties involved: community, farmers, workers, distributors, partners and clients, as well as the sustainability of agricultural holdings itself.

Code of Conduct

Management Criteria

The Code of Conduct of Agrosevilla includes the guidelines that all its members must observe to act correctly in their professional performance. This code is based on the mission, vision and corporate values, and requires of all the people that make up the corporation an ethical behavior, professionalism at work, ensuring corporate confidentiality and respect for free competition.

Standards of conduct

Agrosevilla’s relations with customers, suppliers and administrations are always based on fairness and mutual respect. All members of the company must behave with honesty, transparency and integrity, preserving the interests of AgroSevilla and complying with fundamental and labour rights in a professional atmosphere of mutual trust.

Professionalism

The search for excellence and technical rigour are essential values at AgroSevilla. All its professionals must efficiently manage resources and make appropriate use of the company’s material resources, respecting environmental regulations and preserving their own safety and that of their colleagues. 

Confidenciality

The confidentiality and data protection rules that bind AgroSevilla must be complied with by all its members, even in the event of termination of the professional relationship. This duty of confidentiality obliges each employee to protect their own personal data, as well as that of colleagues, customers and suppliers.

Sustainability memory
Year 2022

This is our Sustainability Report 2022, a compilation of our work focused on three main areas: environmental, social, and financial. Last year we faced challenges such as a smaller than usual harvest, rising prices and drought, and that’s why we focused on maximising natural resources in the most efficient way, including water and land management, and minimising greenhouse gas emissions emitted because of our activities. The report is based on the international Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) standard. This allows us to measure and report our activities making strategies for a more sustainable future in a systematic and objective way.
